JK Personnel is currently recruiting for a number of hands-on labouring roles in Ballarat and is looking for semi-skilled labourers. The work will vary from light, medium to heavy labour and will be casual on-going, full time hours.

You will need to be physically fit with a hard-working, dedicated attitude and commitment to showing up to work on time, every day. Some roles may result in a permanent job opportunity.

Some of the work:

  • Is indoors and/or outdoors
  • Is in the construction, manufacturing and transport industries
  • Requires the ability to operate hand and power tools

If you hold a white card or any machinery tickets, this would be valuable although not essential for all roles.

JK Manufacturing partnering with a large manufacturing company are expecting an increase in need for motivated and skilled labourers to join their Ballarat team. There will be a variety of casual positions, offering full time hours Monday to Friday.

JK is working with a local Ballarat manufacturer in need of boilermakers, fabricators and highly skilled welders due to an increase in orders received. Work will begin ASAP, full time hours plus OT available.

These roles require varying degrees of skill level, including simple repetitive roles through to more complex roles working on custom projects, interpreting engineering drawings and working independently.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Trade qualification highly desired
  • Reliability critical during this busy time
  • Comfortable in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Competent mig welding skills as a minimum

You will be responsible for assembling moulds, operating hand and power tools, smoothing and finishing off surfaces, general housekeeping and cleaning of equipment.
